AMP Firmware Reference

This page lists every Antminer model currently supported by AMP (the AsicMinerPlace build of Vnish firmware), the control board types available for each, and the general installation procedure. Firmware files are downloaded from asicminerplace.com/firmware-download.

Check your miner's control board (visible on the board itself, or via its label/model sticker on the unit) to determine which platform your firmware file needs:

How to identify the right firmware file

Firmware file names follow this pattern: AMP-<model>-<platform>-<storage>-<version>-<type>.tar.gz

Example: AMP-s19jpro-plus-bb-nand-v1.3.5.tar.gz is for an S19JPRO PLUS with a BB control board, installed via NAND, version 1.3.5.

Installation steps

  1. Identify your miner's exact model and control board type (check the label on the unit, or the board itself).
  2. Go to asicminerplace.com/firmware-download and download the matching file for your model, platform, and storage method (SD or NAND), using the table above to confirm which combinations exist for your model.
  3. If your board only supports SD install: write the downloaded image to an SD card, insert it into the miner, and power on — the miner will boot into the firmware from the SD card.
  4. If your board supports NAND install: follow the NAND flashing procedure appropriate to your board's stock firmware / recovery tools, using the NAND installer file.
  5. After flashing, confirm the miner boots and reaches its web interface before returning it to normal operation.
  6. If the miner does not boot, or the firmware fails to load, do not attempt repeated flashing — this may be a mismatched file (wrong platform/storage) or a hardware issue, and needs manual diagnosis.

Reverting to stock firmware

AMP/Vnish firmware includes a one-click "back to stock" option in the miner's backup and restore menu. If that option is not accessible (e.g. the miner won't boot), stock firmware can be reinstalled using the manufacturer's official recovery SD image process.
